The Sweet Warm Glow of Warm TV

Today was a very special day for Nicole and I.

For the past six months we've been watching all of our favorite movies and TV shows on a wee bitty little television. Basically we've been squinting for six months. Not the best.

We had to default to our smaller TV after our rather large, rather awesome TV went on the fritz. One side of the screen went black, while the other side stayed lit up like normal. We wanted to get it fixed, but we kept putting it off longer and longer. Eventually we just became accustomed to our wee tiny fallback TV.

That is until we dragged the broken one down to the repair place. We figured that it would be cheaper to get it fixed than to buy a whole new one. I was surprised to find out that we were right! Mission accomplished.

Part of the reason I wanted to get the TV fixed was because for an early Christmas present I wanted to get Nicole a Blu-Ray player. It was a lot of fun setting it up for her and watching how excited she got seeing that super giant television back in its rightful place.
