A Little Something to Calm Those Late Night Munchies

The weirdest thing about working late nights is that you get these cravings for food. Not just normal food either. Like to night I'm craving Jack-in-the-Box Tacos, Egg Rolls and a Coke.
3 Egg Rolls!
2 Tacos!

If you know anything about Nicole and I, that combination isn't that strange. They taste great and they hit that extra special part of your brain that craves nasty drive-thru food and deep fried State Fair food. You feel like a deep fried caveman afterwards.

Basically it satisfies all of your grease needs for the next 3 months in one shot, and if you get a Dr Pepper with it, it could technically be considered essential vitamins.

Speaking of weird and tasty, tonight on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon they debuted a new Ben & Jerry's flavor made especially for us late night snackers! Its called Late Night Snack. Here's how they describe the flavor: Vanilla bean ice cream with a salty caramel swirl and fudge covered potato chip clusters.

Sounds weird, just how we like it! Here's the video:

Another awesome late night snack that is guaranteed to satisfy any craving is Filiberto's! It's so good that there are million fakes. Lolibertos, Philibertos, Albertos, etc. Basically you take your name and put '-burtos' on the end and now you have an awesome tasty mexican restaurant! So next time you see a "Brady-berto's" stop on by!

Filiberto's might look shady sometimes, but you're not eating the building. You're there for the awesome Carne Asada burrito and the tasty green salsa. Oh and don't forget to drink 5 gallons of horchata. I've even heard that they make carne asada covered french fries! Uh... Awesome. I might pick some up on my way home.
Carne Asada Fries!
A little side note about Filiberto's: I love delicious Mexican food, but something about eating a massive meal here late at night and then going to sleep soon after does not mix well. In my experience you'll wake up in the middle of the night from a crazy dream, sweating like a pig and out of breath. We call those the "Fili B's Night Sweats" You'll get used to it but you might want to take this into account when you set out to munch for the first time at this tasty place.

What are your favorite late night snacks? Which late night food place do just love? Post it in the comments below!
