Upgrades Unlocked!

We had some awesome updates here at work. They might seem lame when you're reading them here, but for the success of the show we think will help a lot. Over the weekend the producers had some people in to the studio and add some extra set pieces. Which we desperately needed. I'll give you an example:

Here's what it looked like before:

It was basically a classroom that we were borrowing, with some super awkward classroom/cubical desks and white boards. It looked like we were shooting in someones office building. Oh, by the way that's Gayle and Nick, two of our hosts. Gayle's face explains how most of us felt about the set.

Here's the view from the other side of the desk/cubical things. Not much better. Those mini blinds are a nice shade of grey though, right?

Enough of that boring old set. Here's the new set!

Look how suave and sleek these two look with their super digital neatness behind them. The screens all have video loops playing on them and those color streaks all swoosh around and make things shinny.

Again, here's the view from the other side of the table. Oooh! Very newsy looking. We're not trying to get all serious on people, but just looking to improve the image and quality of the show. I think it looks great! Much improved. If I remember right, they added 16 large flat screen TVs that can all have different backgrounds and video loops. Which is pretty cool, and it makes the 'Production Value' of the show go up 1000%. I just hope we can keep improving things, little by little.

What do you think of the new set? Let me know in the comments below!
