Hold Fast: Something I Found

Today, I was meandering the internet and I stumbled upon some interesting videos. They're a group of mini documentaries sponsored by a rum company, and they highlight people who do things their own way. I sort of like hearing about people who do things a little differently. I think doing things differently helps me realize a little bit that there is no wrong way to do things, as long as you're passionate about what you do.

I sort of imagine myself as one of those kinds of people. I've talked about this before in an earlier post, but it's nice to see people finding their own way to stay true to themselves. Everybody is unique and not every person has to fit within a particular norm. Besides, if we did things would be very, very boring.

We don't like boring.

I'm still finding out for myself who I really am. Let me tell you, its not the easiest thing in the world to really know yourself. You have to really think about what makes you happy and how you can take that passion and use it to your advantage. I don't think that you should mould your skills to make you famous or rich, but to find joy in what you do and who you are.

This is the video that I really enjoyed in the series:

What do you do to stay true to yourself?
