Extended Play: Monday as Weekends?

One of the perks of being an Everyday All Nighter is the fact that Mondays are no longer the dread of the work week and they become a wonderful extension of the weekend! Let me explain a little more...

I work Friday nights, which naturally means my work day carries into Saturday. So when I get home the weekend is already technically started, but I sleep through half of the day. But when I wake up it's a wonderful feeling knowing that I have the rest of the day to play and do about anything I want! Its wonderful. Usually the Family and I spend Saturday running around doing little errands and window shopping.

Sunday is very relaxed and calm usually. We sleep in a little, eat breakfast in our underwear and head to church in the afternoon. Its the pinnacle of lazy and relaxing at the same time. Movies are the usual form that we pass the time on Sunday, and sometimes an awesome dinner.

Then its on to the super secret Monday Weekend! Its not really a secret, but when you don't have to go into work until 8pm you pretty much have the full day to goof off and do anything you want. Its the best.

• Example #1: Feeling like you want a sweet snack? Ok, lets drive to east Mesa and grab a Krispy Kreme doughnut and a soda. Check! Craving satisfied. 
• Example #2: Nicole bought some pictures of our family, so we bought some frames for the wall. Framed and hung!
• Example #3: Convince my wife to go to afore mentioned awesome hobby shop on the way home from sugary snack run? Check! Nerd-iness abated, wife impressed.
